“Come as you are” by Maarja Jõemägi
Do you ever fluctuate between who you think you should be and who you came here to be? I’m here to invite you to step into the being of who you truly are, deep down.
We are taught to be perfect student, maybe the perfect kid, the perfect citizen. Over the years, we have learned to put on masks to fit in and build walls to protect ourselves. We need to unlearn all those limiting patterns we were programmed with - to start being who we are.
What does it even mean to be who we are? What if I already think I know who I am? The key is to stop being who we think we are. The ego-mind has created a picture of us. It dictates what we should do and be and have to fit into that picture. What we are, our true essence is something that is simply beyond the mind, and the mind can never understand it. The more we tune in to the heart and learn to make the difference between the ego speaking to us and our higher self, the easier it gets to get closer to our true being. The more we experience that we are light, we are something so much bigger than the mind, than this physical body, the more all those masks, labels and identities start to fall off. The truth is, it is not as complicated as it may sound. We, humans, make things more complicated than they are.
I’m here to remind you that you are already where you need to be. You are already who you need to be. You are already perfect at this very moment. Once you accept this, it frees you. The world needs you as you are, not the version of you striving for perfection that is based on someone else’s idea of perfection.
As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give the other people permission to do the same.
